Just a reminder - the current RDSS toteboard accommodates ONLY 16 betting interests, so the tote will NOT display at all for the Kentucky Derby.
Also, since RDSS pulls tote information from the Brisnet Supertote site - and since on big race weekends Supertote has been known 'sometimes' to stall and not provide timely tote info - if it appears that this is the case, for example today or tomorrow - well, that's just the way it is! If this happens, you are welcomed to write to me wondering what is wrong with the RDSS toteboard, and I will respond as quickly as I can. And, direct you to this post - LOL!
The good news is that tomorrow I will be testing my RDSS 2.1 tote upgrade live on the full 20 horse (and hopefully not 22 horse ) Derby field. It looks good in code, but there are precious few fields of over 16 actual runners to test with. And it is a programming axiom that EVERYTHING looks good in code, but REALITY is the harsh/sweet proving ground http://www.paceadvantage.com/forum/images/smilies/47.gif. Let's see how it works.
I will also be testing new alternate sources of tote data from Twinspires and XpressBet, both of which have proven more consistently reliable than Supertote.
Good luck all, regardless of your tools!
Ted
