mnr......i see the #1 stealing it here wire to wire on this type of track configuration..if anubody can run him down , would be the #9....#1 right there .44 flat on lead.......#9 can close hard those fractions................win....#1 @ #9

22.3 46.2

I don't see this as a wire to wire race. Thus, I look for the winners to be

#4 Tea Time
#7 Lucky Mary G (Just in case)

MNR Race 3

I see it as OTE with a 22 first fraction. Got it to 2 and 9 handling that from off the pace.

Bit of a dud gents. But if you had him you at least get him added to your win tally.

It is a special stakes day Mike. You are right they normally run at night so I posted the time with the race but I guess you missed it. No great loss. Maybe Tim will have an interesting one for us tomorrow.

Sorry I'm a bit late with this. Here is a 6 furlong race from DMR with 8 horses running. Post time is 3:11 PDT which is about the same time the AP will be doing his thing at MTH.

Got a 22 and change quarter going. Seeing a wire job by the 5 with the 4 maybe catching.

Tim, are you at Del Mar today? If so, I might see you - same place as where we met a couple of years ago. I plan to be there about 1245 or thereabouts

Pace: 21.9 - 44.8

ote/e - #3 may revert back to speed and try to steal the race, hence early.

Contenders: 3-4-7

win: 3-7

Bill

Bill,

I thought about going to Del Mar this year but decided not to after being in Oregon for a month.

Good Luck,

Tim

Del Mar #3:

When I put this race up, I didn't see much pace pressure. Now that 5 has been scratched, there is less pace pressure. Almost by default, I think the 4 will get the lead which is a place he doesn't want to be. He likes to run 4th at the first call. I'm guessing the 1st call at 22.3 with the half about 45.4.

I think the horses who will run well under this scenario are sustained horses. So, my top 2 horses are the 3 and the 7.

In race like this, the best sustained horses are the routers that show good times at the stretch call in routes. The 3 fits this scenario.

The 3 is my choice to win.
