Let's go with a couple of races from Prx for Saturday. The 2nd is a good open field of claimers sprinting 6 furlongs. Post time is early for those of us out west...10:22 AM!

The 8th is a route loaded with E's. Scratches may affect this one, but then we get to decide if Early or OTE will win.

PARX #2:

This is a tough race. I see it as a paceless race. I'm looking for fighters that can run well from off the pace. This puts me on the 3 and the 5. I like the 3's line 3 back and 7 back.

The 3 is my choice to win the race.

Prx 8th, scratch #1 and #1A

Prx 2nd

I see this as a relatively paceless race. The 3 and 5 are the only horses who have ever been on the lead in a sprint at the 1C or 2C. The 5 did it against a 23.1 46.4 at Pen. The 3 has fought against much faster paces multiple times and will have every chance to dominate this race and go wire to wire. It does not need the lead to win either. I’ll take the 3 to win.

Prx 8th

6 of the 8 horses are E’s! Some have shown the ability to fight a little bit or win from a close 2nd or 3rd position but that’s hard for me to see happening today. These guys really like to open and fly if they can. Several have the ability to go 46.2 to 46.4 for the half if they have to. I have to believe there will be a meltdown here. Of the 2 OTE’s I like the 7. It shows it can handle the faster pace and run on in sprints from 9th and 5th position. It has also won routing. I’ll take the 7.

PRX Race 2

Looks like we are all in kind of agreement on this one. I find the race paceless too. Have it down to contenders of 2,3,5 against 22.2, 46.1. 5 is my choice to take it with a toss up between the 2 and 3 for backup. No way I'm taking 6-5 on 3 so will take 2.

Have to be looking OTE. 7 is top choice but 6 while being an E can win from a little back.

Pete, Tough race!
Wish there was a turf line for the 6 he was a pretty good pace match but couldn’t bet him first turf even though he had excellent Turf breeding.
