Can anyone explain How a "Horse Racing Feeder Contest" works as opposed to a "Qualifier Contest".
Appreciated.

Feeder contest is a prelude contest to the qualifying event. They are reasonably priced versus buying directly into the actual qualify event.
Example:
Dec,3rd I won $18 feeder that paid my way into the $116 dollar HPWS qualifying event at horsetourneys.I then won that tourney which pays my $1500 entry fee, travel, room and board to the HPWS at the Orleans in Vegas. All from $18 investment.
Feeders are a great introduction to tournament play

Paul,
I followed your lead and entered a $12.00 PRX Feeder contest for today.
Races 2 through 9
Top prize is $400.00 with 4 more smaller cash prizes.
"Pray and Pick" on Horsetourneys.com
It was a fun way to get back into the game and a good value.
The 12 bucks is worth the practice and a fun day watching the races.
Experience is the best teacher.:)

Although I didn't finish in the money,
I felt good about a 15th place finish for my
first time back event.
For sure, it felt good to be back in the hunt.
