Epicharis is out of the belmont!!!

I re-watched the preakness to see how bad of a trip multiplier got in the race. I didn't see him getting stopped in the stretch like one commentator said. Jockey never checked the horse. What i saw was the horse looked uncomfortable breaking from the rail and jockey kept him there the whole race until the stretch. By then the race was long over with. And my 8 horse here closed lights out on a speed favoring track, i mean he passed lee(6) like he was standing still. So with a much slower pace, 5-10 lengths slower, these three sustained runners should be well within striking range of the leaders and make their presence felt at the wire. This race is known as "the test of a champion" for a reason. I just don't see that quality in the 7 horse. The 9 for one will soften him up. Quality horses don't back up in the stretch on a speed favoring track like he did, i mean he just looked the winner in the eye and collapsed.

I'm using the 10's maiden win to rate him here and i think he'll run somewhere between that race and the illinois derby.

I'm playing the .10 super like this:
6-8/10/all/all $14.40 and 10/6-8/all/all $14.40
i think you can get back at least $300 if one of those tickets hit.

I've attended the belmont stakes every year from 1977 thru 1996. I just got tired of fighting the parking lot traffic. It would take at least 1-1/2 hours just to get out of the parking lot at day's end. Besides, today i hardly walk and my friends i went with are gone.
Good luck . Omar.
