Howdy Jim,
I am probably one of the few here using the good ole DRF to
pick my pacelines from.I really dont care for those Trackmaster adjusted
numbers. How do you handle a situation where the projected time is coming
from a faster track than where a lot of the horses have been running at.The
projected times could knock out serious contenders.Take for example the 9th
tomorrow at Pimlico in a 6 fur stakes you have horse coming from Gulfstream,Aquaduct and Churchill which are faster tracks than the ones coming from Laurel and Pimlico.Jeff

Jeff,
You are correct, when you made the statement concerning a fast shipper,
I haven't seen the Pimlco card for tomorrow, but I would use, the horse that has run the best against the fastest pace in his last race, at today's track, and at today's distance.

Jim,It's a 7 horse field and you have 4 such horses shipping in from faster tracks would you more than likely pass the race .Jeff

Jim,What if it's a 6 fur race and the horse that you find to set the pace at the first two calls did it a 7 fur would you still use it?Also what would you do with the final time if no 6 fur horse can meet those 1st two calls.I think if Im not mistaken on a tape you and Tim Mc Cray (i think)talked about how to adjust the distances.Jeff
