Happy Birthday Brooks (Joe Varone Sr)

[Ted Craven]

Today is Joe Varone's (Bill's father) 90th birthday. Joe posts very occasionally here as Brooks. Happy Birthday Joe! May you enjoy every day of your life, and a long and successful one it has been so far.

I know you are surrounded by your family today (locked down with them, actually, in your sweet part of California, near to Del Mar). And I know Esther is smiling with love from wherever she is now.

Too bad about the Surf Side being closed at DMR right now, but the Varone OTB is open with a few tracks running this weekend for your and Bill's pleasure and profit, I'm sure.

All the best Joe, and look after that son of yours ;)
