Most of the horses are coming off layoffs. The pandemic has loosened recency requirements. Trainers need the money and I think they do not have the luxury of racing the horses into shape. The horses should be ready off the bat.

Plus, as Doc Sartin told me once in Las Vegas when I asked the same question Jon, treat the horses as all in the same boat, so to speak - all equally laid-off, all equally ready if they are or unready if they are. Check workouts, check previous initial performance at the beginning of a season or after an equally long layoff.

racing was fairly formful today. Overall, a very profitable day.

Very Surprised that Amalfi Coast was bet down to even money in the 9th.
It did help the day, as the winner was there and paid well!!

Hey everyone I have put on Pace Advantage titled “Woodbine Track Profile” and I am doing this for the whole meet by the way, of compiling data like best posts, BL @ 1st and 2nd call, top jockey trainer and fractions. You may read up on this everyday as I will be updating on each data for distance and surface and not class levels(too hard for a teenager right now lol) but hope you like it and maybe benefit from it!
