I will dedicate this to Bill who I BELIEVE if he stuck to Energy would do better with it than Validator or any of it's clones.

Win-$6 ea on 8 and 6

Ex box-3,6,8 Total-$24.

I kicked the 10 as he will have to prove he can run a 119.4 again from the 10 hole.Jeff

The only win contenders I can find are #10 and #3. Neither is a great price. Okay, how about exotics then? I suppose you could, but this is CT and you're talking gamble with a capital "G" now.

I'll make pretend bets here, but won't be risking any real money. A logical way to bet this race might be like so:

$2 exacta box 10-3-8 (although I hate boxing three horses)
$1 trifecta box 10-3-8-5 (I don't mind four horse tri boxes if value)
$36 to win #10 at 7/2
$24 to win #3 at 5-1

Total Investment: Far too much for this race.

hi guys
I like the 4 horse. The 10 appears to be so strong he should go backwards off that last monster race

4 to win and exacta boxes 4,3 and 4,10

I have the 10 taking this one going late with the 8 as a place horse also late.

My Bet.
$20 WIn 10
$10 Exacta 10-8

I did it Match Up again. Not going to venture further than win/exacta.
If I had to pick a Trifecta it would go 10-8-2 for $5

Jeff

Dear Jeff
I respect your opinion But I feel The program that I use should be a program that I feel confident with
You know me very well. You know that Val 2 was very important to me. I was one of the very first to see it and work with it one on one with Doc

I did thousands of races with it then even more with Val3
I never would look at, Except for some info... other programs. It was just to see what it is
Energy was a way for me to forse myself to learn about raw times and paceline selection.
Plus things just seemed like that was the future I felt for this board I had better learn what was going on
When Val 3 went bad I was lost. Spec is what it is but I never was really able to commit to it because of the missing VDC readout
I felt that this was some kind of punishment to Doc and folks like myself who trusted it I never really brought the stories why it was not included
This and the total shut out in the triple crown races led me to
feel if I can't have Val 3. I want nothing Energy was work, learning and actually I did great betting with it
Speaking to Doc recently I felt that I could ask him what I should do
All I know is I'm using Val 3. I have great confidence that ALL the
folks involved with getting Validator back to pre Feb 1st condition
will forget about taking stuff away

GS
Bill
P.S
Please TED all I want in RDSS is my validator 2/3 back
please don't take anything away

Jeff had the 8 & 1 in my exacta plays. I also ended up using 10 and 3 in other exotic bets. It was a close call between using #3 Fast Driver and # 6 Classical Music. I didn't think #3 Fast Driver would win, but possibly run second.

This is a good example of why you shouldn't try to second guess Energy and overanalyze a race. Jeff you and Pino must have both nailed the winner and the exacta. Others I think hit to. Every week someone is hitting the winner and exacta's in these Friday night plays. Pretty amazing since the tracks being played are not the easiest in the world. Good Handicapping Everyone!

Houndog,I hit the ex and that was it,I have been laying off CT of late do the time discrepincies.Actually the only reason I hit that race was my decision to get rid of the 10.I went back and watched his last race and saw the easy rail trip he got to win.I think it was Fast who had mentioned before about trip handicapping and it does help to go back and watch old races.Jeff

Bill,I used your method of using energy and it got those horses in order.I think you are one of the few here that no matter what Sartin Program you are using you will find a way to make it work for you.Jeff
