Since I am the sports monitor and wanting everyone to have FUN all year round I have decided to do a march madness bracket contest for anyone who wants to compete in it

The Grand prize is an e-book copy of the book "Consistent Handicapping Profits" by EW Donaldson! A very good book indeed and it can be yours if you end up winning the whole tournament!

Conley you should consider playing in the Bill Varone Memorial this year. From your performance at OP this spring you are well qualified for a run at the big prize. You’d be up against heavyweights like Cigar, Dogkatcher, Mowens, Mitch and others but I think you would hold your own.

It will be open to the first seven players to put up $100. $500 to the winner and $200 to runnerup. Should run in early May. Working on the details. Will be similar to last year but shorter in duration. Will call for players in April.

I am not forcing anyone to do anything I am just wanting other sports fanatics like me to have some sort of action during the year

And if it makes it less stressful for you I will not be playing since I want others to have fun but in the circumstances, and if I would have won (which would have been highly unlikely) I would have just given the 2nd place person the e-book

I believe Ted will close this thread down so if you want to follow along with the action please see the "Sports Forum (http://paceandcap.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=162)" as I will be updating results and posting a leaderboard after each round has concluded

When the Championship game has concluded I will have to calculate the final points before I can say who actually won
