A Little Del Mar History

[kiltman]

Back in 1937 Bing Crosby, Pat O'Brien and Jimmy Durante got together and started the Racetrack in a little town called Del Mar on the coast of California just North of San Diego. I can still see Jimmy Durante on the old black and white tv saying goodnite Mrs Calabash wherever you are. His famous closing line after a show.

If I'm not mistaken, did'nt the Marx brothers also participate in the founding of the Del Mar racetrack?
