race 6 - 8.5 turf - Alw
ok we had some rain here last night - they should run this on the grass
I capped it for the weeds but am going to display the whole 14 horse field. scratches and the like will cause chaos so I figure leave the whole field in to check
YES we can look at like 20 pacelines together if needed with RDSS
here is the whole field
notice quickly there is a counterenergy # 10 that has top Tpr number going in - 8/1 ml - has a 7 point Epr advantage over the field

the 40 dollar winner and an exacta that paid over a thousand dollars are your top 3 late horses in race 6. being a turf race that's certainly gettable. just happened to be looking thru this and saw that.
a comment on the look of the software. the numbers need to be bigger in my opinion. if that can be adjusted good. they look way too small for the screen.
unless it is different when actually in front of you. i am only going by the screenshot

I have heard so much about this RDSS when is it supposed to be available?

Jeff,
Been away for a month, but I'm back now and working hard again on this. I really want to launch it for the beginning of the new year and I plan to work on it as much as I can afford to:). In the coming months, I'll certainly be letting everyone know more how it's coming, and open it up more for testing.
Thanks for asking.
yours,
Ted

Ted, that sounds encouraging. Time for me to get an XP machine together so I will be able to use your program.

May I also suggest a video card and screen capable of 1280 x 1024 resolution - you can just get more on the screen at that resolution. Richie's screen shots are all at 1024 x 768, not bad, but I think people would be happier with the next step up.

Ted,Will there be anything included from some of the older programs like Energy? For instance MUV,UXR and VariegateI would like to see you do some races with it and explanations of the how you use the different screens.Maybe you cant do it now but it would be a good idea later.

Hello Ted
If you ever want to do anything like Jeff requested
you are very wecome to use Binfold/Pace-Cap for any demo
I wish you much success with this project

Jeff,
I don't know about those readouts from Energy - I don't possess formulae for them. I am developing Tandem listings and rankings, visual running style identification and projected pace. First, RDSS will duplicate Validator/Speculator, add record keeping, and assist in the Matchup. Later...
Bill,
Thanks for your offer! I have always expected to do both video and still demos of lots of races, when the time is right. I hope testers (in addition to Richie) will also feel free to post their findings, both positive and negative.
yours,
Ted
P.S. Just for housekeeping purposes, I'm going to close this thread so it doesn't ramble too far from Richie's original Meadowlands RDSS workup. If anyone has more questions about RDSS, perhaps they could start a new topic.
