The pics turned out real good ... thanks so much for taking them and Bill for uploading them. A great way to remember the first annual P+C Day. Nice meeting you Mrs. V. Hope we all get together real soon.

Great photos. It's good to finally see who I've been communicating with online these past two to three years.

Jonathan's desk looks immaculate compared to mine. My filing system is such that my newer stuff is on the top of a stack and if I am looking for something older I guess how deep in which stack I should go to find it.

Truely remarkable occassion you folks had, the opportunity to enjoy with each other and share with the others here who did not attend this event by way of your photos. Also to note that shoeless had the winner of the race pegged, in the gun control state, minus the need for one to bet the race, there is something about safty in numbers, and obviously the numbers were enough for the VDC Pace n Cap Classic!

You forgot to mention that we also have lousy racing here as well.Laurel puts all this money into a new turf course they get a little rain and cancel the 3 turf races just so they can run their crap stakes race. When Philly get those slots in action and the purses start rising Laurel will be no better than Charles Town.Jeff

There's order in all that 'chaos.' Sorta like an auto mechanic's tool box. We know what to tool to get when we need it!

Bill,Thanks for putting up the photo. My wife thinks Richie looks like the very nice person that she spoke with on the phone. She appreciated all the phone calls and posts that were here on the board.Nothing can beat people caring about you when you are sick.I just want to say again thanks to everyone for their support and it defintely made the recovery easier for me to handle.I will never forget it.Jeff

Thanks for posting the photo, Bill. Not only is Richie a top-notch turf speculator, he's an all-around nice guy. This man has a big heart of gold and will go out of his way to help someone genuinely in need. He also doesn't take much nonsense either--just like me. Did I forget to mention he's not a bad lookin' guy, either? Rumor has it that Richie is one real ladies' man.
Although we have never met in person, I consider Richie one of the best friends I have. A real down-to-earth paisan whose hand I can't wait to shake one of these days when I make it up to the Meadowlands just for that special occasion.

A very good man, thats for sure
Nobody knows the hard times we had to fight past
I have gotten much older
Rich looks almost the same as he did when I met him at the
Meadowlands many years ago
I understand very well what you and your wife feel
Rich is always there for me when times get tough
and to share the joy of a big win

hi everyone,
Bill, great job and thanks for posting the picture that Laurel sent you, the one that the official track photographer took of us with the winning jockey. For all who weren't able to be there that day, that's me (nomorebocci) and Bill's dad (Brooks) on either side of the jockey and Bill (the guest of honor that day).
Also, nice to see Richie's picture, too. He is such a nice guy, wish he could make it to our house with you some weekend!
Regards, Mrs. V
