It is difficult to change. We fight what we know, but things keep changing. My great friend T.K.(who is a high school physics teacher from Minnesota and a long standing methodologist) has been following Keeneland and he tells me "just look at the incremental deceleration screen and forget the rest." Well he was right again in the third today.

The IMUG graph's look like they are coming from Turf races. I have a feeling Hollywood will be similar when it opens. I have looked at all of the charts since the meet has started and I think I have seen 1 perhaps 2 w/w winners.

The Phoenix Handicap which was won by Kelly's Landing was run in splits of 22.3-45.4 and a final time of 109.4. Kelly's Landing was not on the lead as was 5.5 lenths behind at the 1/4 and 5.0 lengths behind at the half. This would be in keeping with the graphs you have shown us.
