The Woodbine Entertainment Group should be ashamed of themselves for having a no refund policy on King's Plate Day last weekend:
1) The average fan gets dressed up once a year, and attends the Plate. They pay $100 + a ticket, and there is weather that has not been seem for 50 years. The races are cancelled, and no money returned.
2) WEG now schedules the race for this Friday? A Friday, why not Saturday.
3) It turns out that the racing secretary Tim Lawson (Son of Jim Lawson, Executive Chair of WEG), is getting married on Saturday. NEPO BABY
You can't make this stuff up; and the fans of the sport get screwed again.
