BL Score Bug?

Hi Ted,

First off, great job to all who contributed.

While watching the live zoom, I noticed a possible bug in the BL scoring. During the part where the BLBL tab was shown while LT1 was explaining the turn time deficiency of one of the contenders, the horse with the second ranked primary line score had a lower BL score than the horse with the third ranked primary line score. I believe that shouldn't score like that?

It was in the 4-29-25 video around time mark of 55 minutes.

I have noticed a similar thing on BL/BL where the sort doesn't always work perfectly when you first go to it. What works for me, is if I go to the Primary screen first, then click BL/BL tab, and then everything seems to be sorted correctly.

Not sure if this is what caused what you saw, but it is something I generally have happen once a card or so.

Hi Dan,

I think I've seen what your talking about from time to time, but this is different. On the screen in the video (on the BL/BL tab) the contenders are sorted correctly by their primary line score rank, but their associated BL scores are not.

I've seen this problem occur in the current version of RDSS with an example in the following thread...

Swifty - I'll examine this and get back to you as soon as I can. I know I did make a change in the past year to sort on the BLBL score, which is a weighting of the Primary Line Score and thus not in lock step with it.

I'll explain things from the position of latest update (dropping later today for everyone!).
