results not loading

I pay extra for the results from trackmaster now.

I didn't get a chance to play CD last week on the 5th or 6th, but I opened the card on those days to get the TS scratches. The scratches were there last week in RDSS.

I opened those two cards today, not only were the scratches gone, but RDSS refuses to load the results. Is the results a trackmaster problem and I need to contact them to return the extra money I am paying them, or is this an RDSS problem?

Hey Dan - the Results within RDSS which you are missing are the Summary Results which are available from Equibase for only 2 days following the race, per the Data Centre screenshot below.

In the example of CD June 5th and 6th, the Summary Results would be available from Equibase through June 7 and 8 respectively, but not later. If you did not assemble the races for that day, or refresh the Data Centre Tasks for that day by downloading the Results - before those results were no longer available - this would explain why they do not appear now in your RDSS results for that day.

You say you opened the cards for those days but did not say if you actually assembled them to fetch the TS Ratings and Scratches. If you did not, then there would be no TS Ratings or Scratches. In the Data Centre, if you have the Task checked Download TS Ratings (default) - then on the day of races, the TS Ratings will be fetched. If you download the TS Ratings/Scratches at the end of the day - that download will include the day's scratches (i.e. refresh the Tasks at the end of the day - fetching the Results and TS Ratings/Scratches). Then even if you did not manage to play the races that day, that data will all be there for you later if you want to work with it or make models from the data.

My own practice is to download everything, all the time. Before I go to bed -

1. I back up my computer
2. I rerun all the Tasks in the Data Centre to fetch final Results and fetch the TS Ratings/Scratches for for all race (and download all upcoming race PPs).

Hi Ted,
So if I pay Trackmaster for the Charts+PP, they do not provide the Charts?
If I am paying Trackmaster for the bundle, shouldn't the results always load?
What is the extra $0.75 a card for if not the results?

Dan, as the above image shows (and shows in your Data Centre as well) - the Download Results Task downloads the Full Result Chart file (within the past 14 days, I think) as well as the Summary Results file (within past 2 days). RDSS makes use of the Summary Result info to display results and prices in RDSS, and thus to export it for model making.

While RDSS does download the Full Result Chart file, at the moment it does make use of it (i.e. digest it into the RDSS database, with running positions and beaten lengths, closing odds, etc).

Just the info from the Summary Results is processed and displayed at the moment. The Full Chart is stored for future use. Still need to pay for the extra Bundle fee to get the Summary Results shown in RDSS (if that is useful to you). However, it is more useful than the Full Result Chart data (because we don't use that).

(You can find the full Result Chart file here: C:\Rdss22\Data\Results\XMLCharts\2025\SAR\). XML file extension - if you can make use of it by other means. Eventually, RDSS will do.
