Dan, whenever a screen seems mis-sorted when moving to a new race, simply switch to a different screen (tab) then switch back. Or click on the column header of the factor you wish to sort by.
When moving to a new race (or when another track also open switches to a new race), the screen you're looking at sometimes takes on an improper sort.

Hi Ted,
I simply did that.
I also simply went to other screens and tried resorting. Went back, it simply was ****ed still. I had to simply close the program. Simply reboot the computer. Simply restart the program and then it simply went away.

Not sure if they are related, but yesterday was also the first day in over a month when I was seeing incorrect data on the screen.
One of the maiden races was showing different horses from another race, which I luckily noticed, since maiden races typically do not include multiple race winners.
I was closing the program between almost every race to try to mitigate this and rebooted twice during the races at Delta to see if that would clear any memory or pointer issues.
When I started RDSS this morning to save the results, I was very happy that the scratches were saved. This does not happen a lot. All of the races had the correct results except the first race, it had unknown/incorrect results. I exported all the other races, went back cleared the cache and reassembled and was able to get the results for the first race after rechoosing my pacelines. Exported that race to another file and then merged it into the spreadsheet.
Like I said, RDSS functioned perfectly for a month, and then yesterday went to ****. Were there any updates or releases to any of the software components?

Simply ... no.

I wrote software as a profession for 30 years, I have never seen software "just break", it always goes to hell when something changes. Hardware can wear out, not software. When software breaks it is because something changed. I have never seen it otherwise. Not sure why RDSS worked perfectly for a month or more and then just went to ****. I am using Windows 10, there are no updates on my end. The only software I show that updated during that 24 hour period was bitdefender. I can't see how a widely used anti virus would have anything to do with RDSS. This has me at a loss if you say nothing changed in any of the RDSS components.
