Hi Jeff. I lost interest in the Sorpranos, 4 years ago. The first 2 years they were okay. After that, they started going down hill.

Hi
You know I have never seen this show!!!
I did see them filming as they shut down a road I was on
I thought it was an accident but no they were at the corner
of Rt 10 and 202 I thought it was cool
but I never saw the show.

Me neither, Bill! I gave up watching TV not long after the advent of the Internet.

hello Jonathan
Me too I hardly ever watch
I don't even have cable anymore
if its not on 5 or 9 or 13 (pbs)
I couldn't see it if I wanted
I don't miss it at all. Anything thats popular
I hear about it on the radio and watch clips on the internet
Why invest 2 hours when I can read or
do races

I believe it was Newton Minnow, who some twenty-five years ago, characterized TV as "Wasteland"
What would he call it now?

They threw a pretty good party last night at The Hard Rock. The place was mobbed!
And speaking of parties, I went to Gulfstream Park last night and hit a nice tri at MNR.
Guess what they're giving away every Sunday at GP this month? A new Volkswagon.
I like it better there in the off-season than when it's open. During the season you can't even get your bets in!

Is that because it is to crowded on a normal weekend or weekday? Wow I didn't think that still happened except on big event days like the Triple Crown, Travers, BC, etc.

They [Gulfstream Park] took out a whole betting area downstairs and replaced it with...take a wild guess...slot machines. Betting anywhere close to two minutes to post (when I prefer to bet) is practically impossible during the season. You get shut out about half the time.
Calder is much better in terms of not getting shut out (no slots due to Miami/Dade politics), but it's twice as far for me. -- 12 miles away. And let's face it, Calder is hardly Gulfstream.
And more irony -- Calder charges for parking and admission. Gulfstream does not, even during the season. And in The Sport of Kings upstairs at GP the past performance programs are free now.
And did you know you can't bet simulcasts down here until 6:00 P.M. unless you go to Calder? Yep. Only after 6:00 P.M. can you bet via simulcast outlets such as Dania Jai-Alai or Gulfstream. However, if Calder is delayed and Churchill Downs is running then you can't bet CD at the outlets. Why? Because Calder, Churchill Downs and Magna are all in bed together. Ergo, I was not able to bet the Kentucky Oaks at Dania Jai Alai.
It's so screwed up down here it's not to be believed.
