Hello everyone

I just was over on paceadvantage looking around

I want to say some things First off I want to thank Richie and Jeff
you guys are a very important reason why I am here today
You both stood up for me and I want to thank you

The thing is what they think is wrong and bad about the site
Is the very heart of the site. Something I worked to create

It is a ATTA-boy site and It is at least to me a PRO Doc Sartin Methodology site

I am very grateful that we have a alternative here

I like it here and hope to get better for us all

I also was just over there and was going to post but its closed to new posts. Its safe to say I have seen and read every thread ever posted at P & C and talked to many on this bbs in chat, phone, & private e-mails. So I understand completely what most of the posts at the other site were about from both sides of the coin. Some will say this one is full of it or that one and so on. I will now admit to being part of of it all and fess up the following:

In offline chats and e-mails I told our Administrator to not let a certin person be a Administrator of any sub group or part of this board, from other e-mails and chats from another man helping with this board under agreement with this Administrator or trying to get a agreement from our current Administrator in exchange for help with this board. I did provide details to this Administrator as to what was said. Why did I do it, because this guy wanted to install this other chooch on this board and I knew this other guy was in final stages of launching his own software package, and professed to me to be a king of networking behind the scenes, his own quote.
We all have agendas, mine is a more open one for doing ones own thing from a Sartin vantage point, way I view races, but not all Doc'ed up.

Trying to compare this board with PA is an exercise in futility. Although I have the upmost respect for many of the people at PA it is just too easy to get "Flamed" by some of the more Ego-Driven people there.

The mission of this board is to learn the Sartin Methodology and to help people do the same. In this respect Pace and Cap does an admirable job. I do admit I find some of the posts on the PA board informative, but here is where I spend most of my time.

I consider the PA board as one that is more general in nature. For the most part I like the more specialized approach that we have here. I suppose I would be considered one of the "ATTABOYS" that has been referred to. Neverthelss I really don't care and prefer it this way. Thanks for making it happen.

I feel awful that Mike closed the thread
He had to do it but I wanted to say something
They went too far and they don't know my friend Richie
What he says is true I wish I had saved Tim's emails
There are no post ?? How can he post to come back on if I threw him off?
This is a doctor????
I think you stood up for your friend and thats a good thing

I know the facts
I just wanted to say my words

forgot to mention, I never considered myself a "ATTABOYS" but understand how it was directed, looking at both sides of the coin as there always are.

Bill,I didnt appreciate the way they started on you as well but he closed it down before I could run my trap some more.I think Rosa started that thread in the 1st place because he hears the footsteps of RDSS.Jeff

Jim,
Was something my grandmother used to call some in the day, when she was alive, and to be honest she was 100% with who was a chooch.
Many hits with google Jim.

I know that Jeff
You are cool, I don't know about that about Rich R.

All I know Is that RDSS is a very good tool to take people
to the modern Sartin Methodology. I am very proud Ted
is there. You know me very well and you know
my feelings of graditute to people who are there for the
lost sheep as well as the big winners
Richie hooked me up with Doc and then Jim Bradshaw
There was someplace for me. The methodology will last because of good people

We are all in a very tough game. We are trying to predict
what a few horses with jockeys on thier backs will do in a
set distance, On many different surfaces and weather conditions
and some of us are trying to invest just a very little of our incomes
but that amount is big to each of us
I need friends to help me

Admin,

You have a wonderful site here. Many have told you so and are very appreciative. Don't let the politics and issues such as this get you down or cause you to lose focus on the ultimate goal.....winning.

Although I have been a member of PA since its inception, I tend not to get involved nor do I enjoy it when people start hurling personal crap at one another. Most of that stuff should be handled in emails and kept private or face-to-face.

You and most of the people here are genuine and very nice people. Unfortunately some on other bulletin boards mistake "niceness" for "weakness". In horse racing weakness is measured by winning vs losing. My guess is many of the members here are very strong using that as a measurement stick. Your site is very responsible for helping people win. I know you are proud. "Attaboy"

Thanks Jim

You made me think of three special races
the money won was nice but all three races , that is
List the three best wins you ever had ??
The common thread to me was that I
bet them and shared the win with friends,
One of those races was this time last year at Pace and Cap Day
The winner of our race paid I think like $7.00
but It was a race where I used the match up and
Validator It was the a great win because we were all there
Shoeless-Jeff gathered us all together and we won
the race they named for Pace and Cap..
Moments like that , seeing each of the people in our group
having fun was great
I want that feeling to be for everybody
How many losses have I seen on Richies face and they hurt
But the wins will last a lot longer
Thats the power of attaboys

Outside of the respectable folks that post to 'that' forum, I have nothing but contempt for the baffoons and contentious, troublemaking a-holes and j-offs that post there. They offer little (if anything at all) of any handicapping worth--a far cry from earlier years. But yet they are quick to open their collective traps and gang-up on someone for whatever reason(s). That is the main reason I don't go there anymore. And haven't in some time. And especially won't just to see what this thread is all about.

Regards,

Jon

I am someone who is trying to learn this art of handicapping. I view a couple of the other boards (don't post much), but save "Pace and Cap" to read last. I have learned on this board. It is the nature of the admin, Richie, Ted and all.

What is wrong with friends helping friends? If giving honest and positive feedback to one another is ATTABOY, then so be it.

Bill I enjoy 'your' site and the changes you have made lately.

Thanks to everyone ........

Pete

ps...Hope everyone (even if retired like me) notice the upper right had corner.

Who's who, Bill? Can't tell the cast of characters without a program.

Incidentally, I think you should bring back your full face avatar. You have a nice smile; and it's a lot friendly than that shot of the top of your head. You're such a kind and generous man...the smiling picutre is more "you."

Thanks for the photo!

"Who's who, Bill?"

Bill isn't here (yet) so I'll answer part of that question: On your far right that's Jeff aka "Shoeless" with Pino standing next to him. In the center of the pic is Bill aka "Binder" with (I believe) his dad aka "Brooks" standing next to him. The rest I don't recall.

Bill, Shoeless...you out there? Let us know!

Next to Pino is Rx Lawyer and his wife, next to Bill in blue jacket is his dad and lady holding blue hat is his Mom.In between is Rx Lawyer's son and a friend of his.On the far left is Phase III lives and his son.I know this will just confuse you more.By the way I was sitting with Bill and his parents and they were a delight to be with.Shoeless
