I just noticed the listing on eBay from someone named Shellwin, for
"most sought after and impossible to find in ORIGINAL condition, Sartin’s Validator 2 Handicapping program.
Howard Sartin’s Best and most brilliant computer handicapping program and also the last industrial strength computer program to come out of the Sartin mythology.
This is the original complete package that sold for over 600.00, and contains the original program disk in 3 ½ floppy format, Sartin never released any programs on CD’s. The complete program manual and Disk case.
There is no manual data input as the program uses the 1.00, Track Master past performance files.
For an opening bid of 1.00, No reserve, and no rip off shipping why not take a shot."
Bidding is now up to $264.99, proving that there is definitely more than one born every minute.
Not a bad price for an old dos program that has been effectively rendered obsolete by Trackmaster. Hopefully, these poor schmucks are betting on a daily basis.
