Greetings,
I am having a problem that is getting more frustrating by the race.
Video streaming from BETPAD, BRISBET, or individual race tracks that offer it is stopping, starting, buffering, cycling and eventually frezzing up at critical times.
ANy way of getting better quality? Or at least fixing the stopping and starting?
I have DSL wireless.

Cecil,

I was having the same problem late this afternoon on TwinSpires video. I think it was volume on their server, but you'd think they would plan for larger volume with some special weekend events. Or, maybe the problem was with Roberts Communication, the video contractor. I got shut out of one race because I lost track of minutes to post. I finally went and watched the TV broadcast of SA (Woodbine Ent.) I don't know if other sources like Youbet, or TVG work better. I can't get them.

Ted,
Thanks for the input. This really happens almost every time I tune in. Was watching the 9th at SA on Sat. and it stopped and froze as the horses were starting down the stretch. My horse was leading, but had to wait several minutes to find out I won. Makes a guy pull out his hair!

It is kinda a hoot to watch the horsies run REALLY fast after the "buffering". Then slow down, then run fast.....looks like a Laurel and Hardy movie at times.

I joined Xpress Bet to play in their Magna 5 Contests each weekend. I find their Video Streaming to be excellent, very few buffering problems and they carry almost every track. Have to give them credit also for great customer service. I had a scratch in one of the contest races and they phoned to tell me in plenty of time to make a change. Don't hear of that kind of service in this day and age. No harrassment to deposit funds. This is not a paid advertisement, LOL.
