I've tried running my Synergetic Matchup II disk on Windows XP from the command prompt and keep getting a "Overload Divided" error msg. I can view the program files from windows and can even open the help file, but the program will not run from windows. When I attempted running the program from the command prompt I got a "Divide Overflow" error msg. Anybody have any suggestions?? Thanks

That program as with many other older programs has to be run from a "DOS' environment. You will need to use "Everload" in Dos to unlock the program and then use the executable file to run the program.
You might also want to consider using a program call DOSBOX or TAMEDOS that will stabilize your computer and not eat up all of it's memory and will create a staple synthetic DOS environment.

The compatablity mode has nothing to do with it Because, this is a DOS based program and has to be unlocked and run from the DOS environment.
Get a copy of DOSBOX 7.0 and learn how to use it.
You can find it on the internet and it is given free.
You will also need a copy of "Everload" which should be put in the programs directory.
Then follow the instructions I explained in the prior post
If you need further help, send me a PM.

also, d-fend reloaded provides a virtual dos environment, it is a windows explorer type arrangement. however, i don't think you'll be able to print, since the hardware is so very different...
