Hi,
What methods do you guys use for money management? I play poker semi pro and i maintain a 400 bb bankroll. I have no clue on applying this to the ponies.
Thanks in advance

i agree w/ bill. but i'll go three horse IF odds are my min and i don't want to leave money on the table. 7/2 4-1 are my min. some, go as low as 2-1 9/5.
using the 33% win rate on favs. i'll pass on the 2-1 9/5. IF both low odds favs. look like true contenders and winners i'll use the excta as a win bet.
the payoffs need to be @ 7/2 or better. the payoffs don't exceed a 5-1 win payoff($12-24) but its 5-1.

Jim's "Okie Math" for one horse bettors:

Start with $100.00 and $2.00 win bets
Bank goes to $200.00 add a buck and make $3.00 win bets
Bank goes to $300.00 add a buck and make $4.00 win bets

etc etc
