This looks challenging. You've got horses coming from different tracks and we all know Monmouth is lightning fast.
I suppose #8 Lady Alexander will take the lead? Maybe not.
In any event I think #4 River Blades will be in front by the second call and perhaps keep going at 8-1.
#5 Cherokee Gem will press the pace and could nail #4 at the end, but I think I'll take a shot on River Blades at 8-1.

Hi David
I used #5 23.2 -46.6, but i think 1c may be sub 23 and 2c nearer 46, maybe sub 46, which should make
1 Slow
2 Slow
3 Slow
4 In
5 Slow
6 Slow
7 Slow
8 In
Win lose or draw, #4 and #8 are my two here

Charlie D (or anyone who understands his reasoning) -
In the 3rd post of this thread you to toss out for being "slow" all but 2 horses. I can see why you've made those decisions on all the horses except the #3 which seems to me to have some success against 22.1 and 45.1.
Can you please help me understand why this horse should be considered "slow" in the pre-race context of this field?

Fast
Memory is like a sieve, but i think it went something like this.
Line 1,. I didn't buy it, Med in slop can be lightning, ignored, LRL i have no idea about, ignored.
Left with rest, paying particular attention to winning Lines #4 - 1c 23 and #9 1c 22.4
#4 and 8 have faster 1c - #3 gone.
What I SEE, may not be what YOU SEE or Mike SEES or Richie SEES or what any other Matcher SEES.
In hindsight, not trutsing what the PP was telling me was a mistake, but eh!! i'm still doing a Match Up Apprenticeship here mate. :)
Hope this helps and all the best

Charlie D, Thanks for taking the time to think through what might have been your logic that day. I sometimes have trouble remembering why I made a decision 2 hours ago!
