Here is tonight's 2nd race.
#3 and #9 are the "E's"
If the race stays intact I have a feeling the winner will run O.T.E. against a 24.0 first fraction

Hi Richie
#1
Shows 3 wins, a 2nd and a 6th ( beaten 4.9 lengths last run ) when running on Lead or within one length.
"Picture" is E ????

Mike
He may not be 3rd, as the #3 has shown it can win OTE and therefore the #3 is not guarateed to be E

I'm looking at the 6 & 7 Rich
I will take the 6...
believe pace will be 24 & a sub 48 pace...
the 6 has won and come 2 vs sub 48
tthe 7 needs a slower than 48 to win

I'm thinking teacher has set one of those spot the deliberate mistake tests here to see if his students are paying attention.

#1 and #9 look like NFL types and therefore they put a big dampener on any claims they have - OUT
#3 could go with E with one or both, but having shown he can win as OTE i'd tend to keep him on my side.
Now i'm looking for a horse that sits 3rd/4th
#2 interests on his TP and Hoo wins
#4 has not shown much on his two tries at 8f - OUT
#5 has a win on Poly from 3rd, but that was against slow fractions, he also has not showm much on his Dirt runs - OUT
#6, #7 and #8 look deep closers and although they have nice power moves, they may not get the help they probably need from those ahead of them.
#2 and #3 will be my horses here.

Nope (least I dont think so! lol)
If this race remains intact I think the 3 and 9 are most definitely dead meat for the WIN and the 1 probably goes in that cluster too as his only OTE style race was in slop. Another runner belongs in this "dead" grouping too
Now if I can only find an OTE who:
1) runs well against a 24 first fraction from like 4th-5th position OR
2) power moves to lead at sc of race against a 24 first fraction
That will be my horse (s)

#6 could move up a position or two looking at Line 5/6 against your 24 i suppose Richie. Those lines also contain nice little Power Moves
#6 would probably be my pick if i thought everything in front of it was going to stop, but i'm not seeing that happening in this race set up.

FPLR = #6 - 112.8 +25.6 = 1:38.4 just a shade better than #4's sprint.
Pace of race is from line 2 of the 3 - Incrediblee. You could use its last line, but the early sprinter will probably force it to go faster.
If the #1 runs early, he helps compromise the other early types; at today's pace if he choses to press he has no good lines, OUT
#2 cant press this pace, lost tandem to 8 OUT
#3 pacesetter with 9 and possibly others, OUT
#4 Two routes way back, one on lead that would help to burn the rest of the earlies here, one poor presser performance. I matched the last sprint vs #6 and took the #6, one on one.
#5 OUT
#6 FPLR and better presser than #4, in two good races one a sprint and one a route, ran from 4th and as far back as 6th - IN (also look at two 6F preps prior to the routes where he finished 1 and 2; his last sprint prep almost a duplicate of last cycle!)
#7 The Hubble telescope hasn't found the cloud that this one will fall out of yet, but with the potential early clash here probably hits the board off 2nd back and the old Hoosier races at bottom.
#8 Better of two tandem runners but slow -OUT
#9 Helps eliminate all the early burners and would be early speed.
First choice would be #6 and then #4 and #7, with possible edge to 4 as he has run from 4th back and 7 will be either last or next to last early and in middle. The 9 is probably best of early ones for the exotics
#7

Gate pops and 3-9 go right at it killing each other off. Actual 1st fraction a 23.3
Winner runs O.T.E.

Aye and when winner and #2 met on Nov 19th at 23.2, #8 got absolutely demolished.
:D
After the fact can be easy.
if any other horse did run in a POR of 24.4 48.0 112.4 137.1 beside the following, can be considered contenders for the win
only 3 horse did accomplish that #2 #3 #8
#2 line 10
#3 line 4
#8 line 9

As you can see from Pre-race post, i wrongly concluded #8 was a deep closer, but as normal an after the fact look and you can see Line 4 and maybe 5 ( long lay off, needed run or something amiss there as he was off again following that run ) gives #8 a shot here.

Thinking about it, you could Voodoo Line 4, 5 and 9 and make #8 the real deal here.

just watched replay and saw fractions of 23.3 47.1....ok, now lets get the cavalry charge.....WHAT!!!....nothing , just the 2 horses that were 3rd and 4th moved up..
Looking at the past charts , I saw that the winners were coming no more than 4-5 lts off pace...I guess only the regulars wound have known that deep closers here have no shot....get em next time guys
