Fort Erie 0602 - Late/Early

Hello,

After reading the excellent post in the Energy Forum, "Importance of Late/Early". (Thanks LueyL) I used the concept at Fort Erie on 0602
in race 4. The #5 horse (Black Napkins) stood out as the most early
on the E/L and wired the field paying 11.50 for win. Oh YEAH !
I also bet the #3 who was next early but the horse finished out of the money. Maybe I should just concentrate on 5 - 6.5f sprints and try
to kick up my ROI.

I am attaching ( I hope) the screen using "Snagit" showing E/L.

As an aside I am still unclear as to how do you save an open RDSS screen
(without Snagit) when I do not see any save functionality at the open screen level?

I might add it didn't hurt for the horse to have the best TE and EPR.

I did the same thing about 2 weeks ago....

hit a $71 horse......but it was downhill after that...

I would bet a epr horse, then the lpr won..
I then bet lpr..the epr won
then I bet both...then the cpr won..:)...you know

We need someone here to fully explain how to work that e/l chart

I guess your right just a ho hum result. The only way I know how to get a handle on
using the E/L chart is to start compiling records per Track and distance and seeing what works and what doesn't.

Pretty good first crack at posting images (and not a too shabby result at Fort Erie) !

Here's a few tips which you might like:

If you use Snagit (great tool - you can record video/audio as well!), set the Input to Region - that way you can cut out just the exact portion of the screen you want and not your whole screen with lots of blank space, (which just makes the interesting data smaller than it needs to be). To do that, just right-click on the Snagit icon in your lower right System Tray.

Another Tip is: instead of adding attachments, then just hitting Submit, instead, position the attachments from your Manage Attachments list (the Paperclip icon) in the precise location in your message where you want them (like this post!) Just pick each separate attachment and insert them. That way you can put them in between text, and not all at the bottom with that black line around them.

Alas, there is currently no way in RDSS to Save a particular screen (or print it for that matter :( ). If you can bear with me until the next major release, you'll be able to Save or Print either individual screens or customized or default collections of screens (e.g. Save to formats like Excel, PDF, comma separated, XML, Clipboard). Think BRIS PP Generator, or TrackMaster Plus Pro, or Post Time Daily 2.0 PP generators (but with RDSS outputs available as well).

For now, that's what all this screen capture stuff is all about: capture the set of screens you want, save them to a Word or other HTML or RTF editor (I simply use Outlook or the Snagit editor - then print that document. Once you get the hang of it, it takes only a few seconds. Not a perfect solution, but it's what we have. You still have to manually enter figures to a spreadsheet for model-making (e.g. those E/L records) or wager bookkeeping :( , but that's on its way too!
