Binder Day

Hi All, I won a day at Laurel at an auction and I was going to use it to honor our fearless leader Binder.I can get 25 of us in free with programs and they will have a race in our name.Im going to let Binder decide that one if he wants to call it the Binder purse,Bill V purse,VDC purse his choice.10 of us can go into the winners circle to present the trophy I have 8 already.That's if JeffMud and his kid Kevin come.So we have room for 3 more in the winners circle.I know Richie and Binder come from New York and Jersey so anybody up there that wants to make the trip maybe you could meet.I figure do it on a Saturday and Laurel closes April 15th supposedly.We can do it March 25th,April1[that might be appropriate April fools day] or April 8th.The 15th is the day before Easter so Im not sure if you want to do it that day or not.Anyway let me know because I have to call and set a date.I hope some of you can make it.Shoeless

I wish Dick and Ted C lived closer so they could make it man I am really looking forward to meeting them one day sooner the better

I've circled April 8 on my calendar and I'll do my UTmost to get there. I've been doing a lot of thinking about my goals for 2006 and getting to spend some face-time with people who have shared so generously with me is one of my top ones. I'm planning on going down to California to attend Guy Wadsworth's funeral and expect to meet a number of fine folks there (just so sad I never got to meet Guy in person). What better counterpoint to that than Laurel in Spring! (And by April, I'm usually fed up with this Canadian winter.)

I was there in 1994 with Doc et al, for the Sunday at the races portion of the Baltimore seminar, but races were not running then.

Can you save me a spot in the winners circle?

It sounds great guys, but I just showed the map to my trusty '99 Ford Contour and it's out in the carport raving about:

I think that means no. It sounds like a great day though. I'll write the final date down on the calendar, browbeat the local racino into carrying Laurel that day and join you by simulcast.

Richie,Not as yet actually I have been very tired as of late ,the DR says it is because of the prednisone I was on.Hopefully I will do it tomorrow before I go take care of my Mom.It's tough seeing your parents get old she is 87 now,I know your going through the same thing as well.Jeff
