I chose #2 and #4 because #4 looked good on both bl/bl and the segments screen and #2 seemed to be the only early horse.

Tough Race- a fourth losing by a little more than 2 lengths and a horse that came up empty in the stretch of a turf race.

I went back and forth between the 1 entry and the 2. I finally decided to bet the entry wp and of course the 2 wins. I relied too much on the entry having a speed ball to soften up the field and the horse closing.

The 4 got a clear lead in the stretch and could not hold it. Beaten by a 29-1 shot among others.

I thought this was a three horse race between 4,5,6. I bet the two horses with the best ML odds. Of course, the other horse #5 won and my two horses were last and next to last.As it turns out the #5 went off at slightly higher odds than the #4 horse. That is the peril of betting without seeing the odds.

I treat artificial turf like grass racing which is something I learned from Jim Bradshaw. In this race, the two best l\ep horses were the 3 and the 7. I bet both the win but I should have put more emphasis on the 7 because his race was on this track. But it worked out ok.

I bet this one without seeing the odds. However, the 8 did finish second beaten by the 4th horse BL/BL. In this particular race, the l/lp horses did not impress me. I thought the 8 was a strong win candidate here. The other horse I considered on the win front was the #1 who finished third.
