I would like to eliminate the primary and secondary contenders layout. I do not want to separate my contenders.

OK. If you don't classify any horses as Secondary Contenders, you will see no Secondary grouping in your Analysis Panels.

If you use the Paceline Selection Strategy #2, horses with layoffs over 270 days will automatically be placed in the Secondary section (no way to control this right now). You can put them back in the Primary group by either right-clicking on the checkbox for that line, or in the horse's header, move the Contender check-mark to Win.

Hi Ted

When I want to check two pace lines for the same horse
It makes both lines Sec. contenders

Here is an example

here is my BLBL with 1 line for each horse
28865

Here is what happens when I go and enter a second line for horse 7
Now both of the lines are Sec. contenders
28866

What I do is in this case is pick the line rated better of the 2 7's
and then I just go back to the 7 horses PP's and click off the ITM box
and now all the horses are Prime contenders again

28867

Bill,

To select multiple lines for a horse, hold the ctrl key then click anywhere on multiple pacelines in the horse's PPs.

I am not getting the behaviour where doing that changes their Contender group level.

Any more details?

Hello Ted

The problem was I was right mouse clicking on the second pace line
The ctrl key did the trick

This worked much better
Here is race 6 with the last line for everybody
28868

Now I have used the CTRl tab and selected line two for horse 5

28869

Now both lines for horse 5 are rated as Prime contenders
and its clear which line is better
28872

OK Bill. Right-clicking on the CHECKBOX of a horse's paceline adds it to Analysis as a Secondary Contender. Right-clicking anywhere else on the paceline performs context sensitive operations depending on what data column you right-click at. (For example, right-click on one of the call times selects that call time in the Projected Pace tool).

You cannot look at multiple lines and decide you want to make one line a secondary contender, as both selected lines will be moved to the secondary contender list.

I like to view on occasion, 3 or more lines but they are coupled like an entry, move one, move all. That's just moi.:)
