Hi Patrick

Thank you for the screen shot of the race. I followed along. The favorite 4
won some points I saw

The race was for 9.0 furlongs !
and most of these horse have issues
Here are the enetries I have the 4 as a LONE EARLY
32455

Here is how I read the conditions
I only have lines for a few horses
But I did call the favorite as a lone Early
The 5 went wire to wire last race but it has never broke for the lead
before The 4 has shownmore consistant ability to break well and go
right to the lead
Who else in the race can out break the 4 and is in form ?

here are my notes
Conditions 3year old and up which have never won 3 races
Or 3year olds and up which have not won a race
since May 28
or Three year olds

Life time records
H1 3-9 Age 3 gets in with 3 wins last win aug 17
H2 14-57 Age 8 gets in with 14 wins but has not
won in 2012 Long layoff no form No line
H3 6 - 53 Age 6 Gets in with 6
wins but with no wins this year NF 20/1
H4 4-25 Age 5 gets in with 5 wins but has not won since March

Hey Bill

I kinda knew the 4 would be tough to beat, but last 2 he did get beat, so top 3 VDC I went for value here, and this time the 4 was strong enough to win. This happens, sometimes it happens where it occurs in streaks, and the objects is to be on the side of the streak where it does lose. Wierd , maybe, but it's the thinking here.

Best of capping this month.

Patrick

Bill you are very welcome and even thou we seem to be like two older trucks passing in the night, each going 65mph's in opposite directions, both trying to reach the same place safely, The "Profit Zone" , and even thou we do things differently we reach the same place quite often, think alot of that has to do with RDSS and what it gives out when you go digging into a race.

For me the color makes seeing things better and for me RED is like your plus, (+) and no color is to me a , zero (0), yet we see this differently, while doing the same things. Thanks to Ted for the colorazation, is that a word ?

Gotta run more later

Always welcome Bill, I will do my best to answer

Bill,

You read the condition, as it appears, correctly. However, I don't believe the condition, itself, is printed correctly. Here's why.

The purpose of a condition is to limit eligibility for entry into the race.
So let's look at the condition as it appears.

Condition ONE - "THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON THREE RACES"
This is straight forward. Any three year old, or older, that has never won three races is eligible.

Condition TWO - "THREE YEAR OLDS"
IF "any" three year old can enter the race, then why is there a need to previously limit the race to "three year olds and upward which have never won three races"?

Condition THREE - "WHICH HAVE NOT WON A RACE SINCE MAY 28, 2012"
What does this mean?
Which horses are limited to not having won a race since May 28,2012??
Three year olds only???
Older horses only????

I believe there is one too many "OR's" in the condition.
I believe the condition was meant to read as follows:
"FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON THREE RACES OR THREE YEAR OLDS WHICH HAVE NOT WON A RACE SINCE MAY 28,2012"

THIS makes sense!!
Now the race is limited to three year olds and upward which have never won three races OR three year olds which have not won a race since May 28,2012.

Under the limits of the condition written in this way;
- any horse age 3 or older are limited to 2 prior wins.
OR
- 3 year olds ONLY can have more than 2 wins, but are limited to "zero" wins since since May 28, 2012.

50 win 2 and 4 hiding the 11 horse

trusting the program has been tricky lately, as we all know my Pacelines are the best, no need to fix that issue, I am the best when picking lines, period !

may be tough filling this cycle , but will try, my other cycle started good, but has fallen quickly to mere muddle, oh well.

Here is a race to be played during Liv Play today, maybe, as I am swinging for the fences here going for big value,( according to M/L odds and no scratches, yet), hiding the fav's and looking for prices here.

The 3 horse and the 5 horse are the best , but the 1 and 2 are noce value bets, and due to odds may be bet in the place spot, would ove ro see odds to wait and wager, but if had to do now then both will be place bets, like

50 Place 1 and 2

Let me say this , I won this race for real, as I played both hores's w/p and exacta box too, WHY?? Well because the 6 took all the money and left the 3 and 5 drift up to 5 and 6-1 , so here if I bet according to M/L and leave , I lose this one, and a big losee at that, just saying

Today’s race is at 6 furlongs. It is a Starter Allowance. In order for a horse to qualify for this race it has to have started for a claiming price of $16,000 (or less) AND cannot have won two races lifetime.

#1 – line 2, a “+” race. I’ll excuse the last line for two reasons. (1) it is a route and today is a sprint (2) the track was sloppy. Although line 2 is a maiden win, the condition of today’s race is for horses that have never won two races. “Doc” would approve.
#2 – no line. Off it’s most two recent bad races, I see no reason to go back to line 3.
#3 – last line, a “+” race. This is the race that qualified the horse for today’s race. It was a $16,000 claiming race.
#4 – last line, a “+” race. This was the horse’s maiden win.
#5 – line 2, a “+” race. I’ll excuse the last line since it was a route race and today is a sprint race.
#6 – last line, a “+” race. Like the #3 horse, this is the race that qualifies this horse for today’s race. It was a $16,000 claiming race.

The winner, #5 paid $14.20, a nice price in a 6 horse field.

I see we had the same horse to win , the 5 as he was much the best today. As I used line 2 and still had the 5 on top.

The 3 horse can be rated better using another line, such as line 2, but it being 1/2 furlong less and another track, I decided against it.

What surprised me was that it went off at the odds it did, paying almost 15.00 to win, a Christmas Gift, wouldn't you agree.

Happy New Year

I am not downloading this month, and yes that means HSH too, for those who think I am deserting RDSSS , Trust me I am not, just unable to d/l at this time, so maybe someone else will post some cycles for all to see, I doubt it, but maybe this post will spur them on. Hope so.

Not sure how I will make the Contest commitments, guess the free pp's and some old fashioned handicapping, just what the Doc ordered, right?

Good Luck all

See ya when I come back

Patrick
