He was a former teacher of the Sartin Methodology w/the Doc.A very good handicapper and had a falling out with the Doc.He branched out on his own. That's all I'm gonna reveal on his background.I 've always admired him.But back then I heard a lot in hush-hush tones, that he bought win-bet tickets on all horses to show to everybody that he got the winner.I never believed it back then ,even though Bob Purdy himself said it to be true.
Well,a few days ago ,my nephew who works in a racebook in one of the biggest hotel-casinos in Vegas told me that this guy bought win-bet tickets on all horses in one race and a few days later showed it on Youtube of his $30 win bet ticket on a horse that paid $120 and change.I saw that video, too.I'm not gonna say much to protect my nephew's job and I know you guys understand.
I think he did it to show his customers and followers that he is still very good.
I have 2 close friends who are professional horse bettors and they play $200-400 per playable race. And I've always wondered why this supposed to be "pro" only makes $30 win bets.I know he makes a killing on exotics, but I was really disappointed when my nephew confirmed this to me.My nephew says he does this a lot and show his winning tickets on video all the time...now I know...

OK folks, after a brief consultation with Bill V I'm going to make an 'executive decision' and close this thread.

For those who know who this refers to, you may form your own decisions. I do not wish to judge ray lopez' nephew on what he saw, but since the gentleman involved cannot respond here to defend or explain himself (unless he chooses to register and comment - which I doubt will happen) - then I see no point in further speculation.

Maybe things are as Ray explains them - maybe they are otherwise. Maybe some folks use his software, maybe you have no clue and no interest in it.

I don't see it as our responsibility here to dissuade folks from trying ANY other software or method. Which is why I prefer it not become a point of 'gossip'. On the other hand - I'm not deleting this Thread, just closing it ...

If I get a request to comment 'for the defense' I'll open the thread again. Fair enough?
