Just a reminder to those who play Parx on a regular basis that there are now several ne apprentice rider there so the apprentice angle is back in play. Pay attention since the public is generally overlooking them we are getting some very nice exotic payoffs.

Howard

DanBoals — Sat, 26 Sep 2026 17:30:53 GMT

Hey all,

I was telling my daughter about Howard this morning. When she met him, she was just a little over a year old so obviously she does not remember anything about him so she was curious about some of my stories of him.

She searched on him and apparently the search engines have more stuff now than they did previously. I did not know he was credited with writing a TV show in the 1950's, yet here is this:

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1494179/

It seems he wrote the episdoe called the coffee shop incident. Pretty cool.

I did know he was very proud of his grandfather, O. Henry's, work as a writer. I saw this picture of him at the exhibit :

https://www.facebook.com/ohenrymuseu...3968954731347/

I remember how annoyed he was with Jimmy Smits for taking the NYPD Blue role instead of sticking with the Cisco Kid.

He liked being called an Iconoclast. He was a very interesting man and one of the smartest people I have ever worked with... so many things we talked about, racing and life both, did not make sense to me at the time but now are invaluable.

9/25 -DEL r4 -Quad Rater

ray lopez — Fri, 25 Sep 2026 16:21:28 GMT

Using a manual input gives me a better feel on each contender i put in...
and using just a simple Quad-Rater program, let's make a guess on:

DEL race 4 6f CL10k

Here's how the race is going to unfold: I am going to add some color or it gets boring around here.

The Early Going - 8 and 10 with the 9 chasing and the 3 in a pocket trip

The Turn - As the field heads past the 3/8 pole, the 8 and the 10 will be in a contested battle while the 9 will inch forward on the outside. The 3 will be tracking directly behind the 8,waiting for the seam to open.

The Stretch to the Wire - As the contested fractions take their toll, the 9 takes the upper hand and the 3 rallies gamely to challenge.

The 9 and the 3 for the win...

Please note that that I did fudge the 3 to a Werpy since it did not gain position between 1st & 2s [ 5th at both] but since it had corollary support on the bl/bl screen I decided to go with it. Once again our little WV trk comes thru.

PRM Race 2 Synergism Let's Go

AwesomeAgain — Thu, 24 Sep 2026 20:22:33 GMT

Prairie Meadows Race 2. Newpace has this race as pressured low or late favoring. But I believe this race is going to play more honest or early speed. So I will win bet the 3 and 5. Let's see how we do!

Synergism 2. Belmont Race 1

AwesomeAgain — Thu, 24 Sep 2026 16:55:59 GMT

Race 1 Belmont Park. Newpace says this race is Pressured Low or late favoring. I am win betting the 7 and the 2. It is currently 20 minutes to post. The 9 horse is the overlay at this moment. Its sitting at 6-1 but the 2 has more class and I go with class on the turf.Attachment 56056

9/22-TDN r4 - Energy

ray lopez — Tue, 22 Sep 2026 17:24:20 GMT

Let's have fun on a quiet Tuesday...TDN r4 5.5f CLM7500

2 Gotto -1
3 Rumble-2
4 Condem-3
7 Zakar-2

How is the race going to run: here's my guess...

The Early Break (gate to the 3/8 pole) - 7/4

Mid-race to the Far Turn - 7/4 with the 2 just tuck behind the leaders in the
pocket and angled just off their hips

The Stretch to the Wire - Because 5.5 furlongs gives front runners very little
room to rest either the 7 or the 4 will tire while the 2 is swinging in late.

For the win --- 2 and 7

MNR race 1 9/20

DELMARGRANT — Mon, 21 Sep 2026 22:19:32 GMT

I have the good fortune of seeing what Tim's (LT'S) picks are for what track he is playing. In Mountaineer race 1 his selections were 2,7,9,4,8 and mine wewr 2,9,8,4 so after seeing his selections and mine were close I bought an exacta 2,9/2,9,7,4 and it hit 9,4 and paid $88.80 for 2 dollars. Thank you Tim! I also hit 3 more exactas and my profit last night was well over $200 of course I lost several getting there but ended up good
