Bill V.....Saw your comment the other day after a post I wrote - thanks much ! Question for you: when I see you posting Thoromation screens, are you using that off the old disk or is it available somehow otherwise?

That's the only "advanced" program I really ever used. When my disk wore out, I went back to velocity. (I am still able to use Syn II because it loaded right on to my laptop and somehow copies over to other computers for safe keeping.)

Glen Connolly showed me how to tear it up with Thoro in the early/mid 90s and I've always wondered about its future.

Also, I had to laugh about your comment on the 5 furlong horses going backwards on the screen. I remember that. Maybe those were Charlestown races. I've seen a few of those that look like they are going in that direction.

    Thanks for your consideration!

Bill, I have followed your comments to the various contestants. You are such a good teacher and boy do you know the Sartin methodology. You are to be commended for all the time you spend in scoring and in teaching. Even tho I am not literally involved in the contest I do learn a lot from your great efforts. Thanks for being here for all of us.

Hi Bill, I just wantedd to tell you what a fantastic job you are doing with both the contest and your own picks. You are right on. I managed to get my 20 and more in, but my mind is distracted by all the renovations we are doing around the house. I have workmen here almost every day and things are coming down and they aren't and then they are and then they aren't. I can't concentrate like I should.. I didn't want to get into that though, I just wanted to let you know that we have a new member in your area and she goes to Del Mar. I have known her through another privte site I belong to and he other day we got into a discussion about horse racing. I told her about this site and RDSS and she immediately got hold of Ted and got RDSS and joined us here. She is a good handicapper and is very excited about the Sartin Methodology and has delved right in. Her name on here is Diane M. I thought maybe when you are going to the track you could let her know and meet up with her. Again, congratulations on the wonderful job you are doing. love Barb
