One thing I was enlightened to by talking to the few rational people at Paceadvantage, the few open minded ones who are a dwindling number there....

OFTEN a horse will get a big total energy rating when there is a painfully SLOW pace. THIS is what got so many jumping on the PYRO bandwagon when he ran at the Fair Ground versus a CRAWLING pace and got artificially high total pace figures. That one could not reproduce that performance aganist regular or fast paces. THESE are NOT good lines to evaluate a horse. You need to see how it can perform against a lively early pace.

These are repeatedly FALSE numbers since a horse rarely gets that luxury twice in a row. Beware of them, particularly when a horse usually is much earlier and all of a sudden gets a big number with a LATE distribution.

another one at Fort Erie 10/21 2nd race, Tiara Star had hidden improving early speed on a sloppy surface that favors it and went on to a $16.50 mutuel

Hah! Isn't that the truth? "Few rational people," indeed...the rest are grumpy, immature, contentious "horseplayers" waiting like wolves to jump on someone for the least (rational) reason.

The moderator of Paceadvantage, disguised as some one who claims to "see both sides," is an overt FASCIST and cannot stand even the inkling of substantiated opposing points of view on JUST ABOUT ANYTHING main stream from breeding to handicapping to energy distribution to genetics to __________________ (fill in the blanks) yet allows the inner cabal to go unchecked since they are in his political spectrum (which, of course) has NOTHING to do with horse racing.

The closed minded bigots deserve one another.

You are so correct!. I cannot understand why. What does he stand to lose from the free and open exchange of diverse handicapping ideas and information?

The audience can only benefit, in my opinion!

Jon

p.s. Reminds me of the so-called "mainstream" media who give those left of center a free ride (remember Bill Clinton?) and excoriates anyone on the right for the least possible infraction!

p.p.s. "is an overt FASCIST"...he acts more like those on the Left!

I'm pretty sure it was the thread where you repeatedly called Christians "morons" and "idiots" that got you booted, not your handicapping ideas.

Hi Guys

If we can stay on the topics that would make it a better way to learn

I really am honored by all the members and the contributions that are shared
here.

What happens on other sites can easily be judged by the
people who visit and contribute to them good or bad
Discussing the problems of other sites here
really does not to much good. Mike has always been very helpful and
pro Pace and Cap so I feel funny with negative comments about PA here

Thanks
good skill

Good replies to the original question imo guys, so lets not spoil thread for others with off topic issues

Cheers

If you tell a tale, at least get the facts straight:I called them GOOD CHRISTIAN PEOPLE and gave examples as to why they were anything but at my church, how one had belittled a young Jewish boy in my presence and at my grandmother's funeral in not allowing several hundred black mourners into the church. Hypocrites all: more inside than out
