Rich what does dcl translate into SPECPA wise ? Would it be LPR on BL/BL screen or DECL on Summary ?

Ted Craven 06-30-2007 07:33 AM

Jim, that would be DECL on the Speculator Summary or Velocity screens.

(For RDSS users, Deceleration is located on the Velocity screen, where it measures F3 velocity as a percentage of 2nd Call velocity.)

Sounds like an early start to the Canada Day long weekend, or an EXTRA early start to the 4th of July:). (Gonna be fireworks off the lookout downtown here Sunday night!) Happy holidays, block partying and racing to all!

Richie, my friend...oh, how I can "feel your pain." :) Been there, done that (and how!) oh, so many times in 'daze' of yore. :D

Have a very good rest...

Jon :D

La Dolce Vita / Thread conclusion

Frog and Jon,
Yup it was a wild night and early morning! Thank goodness it's over.lol
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Well we did 3 days of every turf route run at the 5 major tracks. Folks will interpret the results differently which is how it should be.

For myself I was pleasantly surprised especially regarding overlay wins and also exacta's.

Will stuff hold up LONG TERM? Who knows.

I DO know this. For THOSE days at THOSE tracks it worked very well in my opinion.

I think even "Mikey" might agree. :)

La Dolce Vita.

Ciao,
Richie

froggy 07-02-2007 11:10 AM

Richie,

Thanks for doing this.
It was for me very revealing.

Turf racing is of its own.
The horses are not normally used up in the first part of the race and must have a reserve for the dash to the wire.
And as demonstrated there are higher mutuels.

Every time I would do a turf race and I'd put $2 out at the window, I would just know in my gut that I had booked a loser.
And this has shown me why.
I have been a stickler for recency.

Thanks again for your unselfish sharing of information.
