Yes, it is how all racing information is gathered, but perhaps something will come along that will change the use of it.
Perhaps it will, but it will still rely on the PP records FIRST and you stated it would make PP's secondary, which it can not do.

Threads drifted enough, so lets wait and see what this new product is and then we can see if it's any use.

CD,
the result charts will allow me to MU the horse, not only vs. the winner, vs. the place and show horse, which isn't possible with the horse's pp. If you play exacta like I do, wouldn't you like to know how your horse fare vs. the place horse?

I do not see why horses pp's and your understanding of MU concepts can't do same gl45 as your using the same information.

If you say the results chart helps though, then i will take your word for it as i respect your word.

The PP record is the starting point for everything and can not be second to anything.

Charlie, you're killing me!

Have you ever heard the saying,"if you want to make an omelet, you have to break some eggs"?

When you order an omelet do you care about who gathered the eggs or how the eggs were gathered or who feed the chickens or who broke the eggs or do you just want the omelet in front of you on a plate?

It is "possible" that at some point in time the PP's will represent the unbroken eggs, the source of the omelet, but not the actual omelet and that something else will come along that represents the omelet, the product of an unbroken egg, yet NOT the unbroken egg?

Now remember, I asked if it was "possible" that it could happen.

Of course your answer is "yes", simply because you can NOT prove that it is NOT possible.

Aahhh! Now I got it! You're testing me because you have no respect for me! But you do have respect for gl45 so you will take him at his word.

lol

Now I understand! :)

CD,FTL,
I'm surprise that the two poster BP and han, which they express their concern about major and minor tracks, are not more inquisitive about the topic at hand, regardless who's right or wrong. If they want to learn ask more questions as the debate goes on......duh!!

gl45 04-02-2010 07:08 PM

CD,
FTL might use data mining results differently from mine. He might look for something so much different from what I would look for. If his results would make him a winner he would stay with them if not, he will change the filtering and go fishing for something else wich the Q Public isn't aware of.

These races were pretty easy to cap and only two in sample, but i think they show what i mean in my last post

I thinking #1 and #5 bother each other on lead, #1 sees off #5 but in doing so maybe leaves #1 vulnerable late in stretch

So with this in mind, I'm liking the look of Zito's horse Eagle Emma and Sapphire Sky here as win bets.
Exacta and Tri from #1 Rightly So, Sapphire Sky and Eager (not Eagle as i wrote) Emma
