HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Mike |

Happy Birthday my friend! I have been honoured to be a guest in Bill and his sister and brother-in-law's (Lois and Ed) home near Del Mar over this Breeders' Cup weekend - and a finer family of caring people probably does not exist. (I know I have felt VERY welcomed and included).
One of Bill's birthday experiences was a weekend at Breeders' Cup! It was a fantastic/chaotic experience with some wonderful races. One of our group at our nice table made a profit on Saturday, and it wasn't me or Dr Ziemba. Bill, take a bow! ;) To be clear, Bill is facing some serious health problems right now, kidney and heart, and needs support and good wishes and all the positive healing intentions we can muster for him. But I have VERY high expectations that with the support and love of those who care about him, he will make it through this upcoming period and is already beginning a new path in his life now that he's permanently retired from the trucking biz (a path I think I've suggested to him almost every year we've met in Saratoga for the past 10 years ... :) ). Happy 59 years my friend: however many more remain to you - may each one (and each breath) count as important gifts to be lived fully right NOW. Attachment 44931 Ted |

Happy birthday, Bill. One of the highlights of studying the Sartin methodology for me has been meeting you and your parents. I am sorry that I don't see more of you and am glad you had a very good weekend with Ted and Dr Z.

Happy 59th Birthday!!!
Bill V.,
Happy Birthday!!! That is a great awe-inspiring view of the Del Mar racetrack from your vantage point. I know many do not attend the races "in vivo" but Del Mar does have a great ambience along with several other racetracks. Glad to see that you were attending Breeder's Cup day along with 37,692 in attendance. Keep your emotions in check and your spirit higher as you go through the 3 days weekly monotony of treatments.:) Best Wishes on your 59th!!! Happy Birthday Bill!
I will have a sip of my Merlot to your good health. Glad to have met you this year and glad to see you made a profit on a wild BC saturday. Mike |
Thanks to you all
Dear Pace and Cap Friends
I had a really nice birthday. All the nice wishes and prayer sent my way, both for my birthday and. during my various medical stages and recovery time, have lifted my so high. As I wished and anticipated the opportunity to go to the Breeders Cup I often took some time to say and absorb all the great things I have. There are so many people who joined me in spirit as I walked around Del Mar. I said some thanksgiving prayers out to you all. For I would never been able to see this day, without the love and confidence you all instilled in me throughout all the years, I took a big step way back in 1997, when I was a very lost soul. Something came over me, A feeling one day that God was answering my pray for help. I stood up, and knew he would help me. I know he was the one, who gave me his love. I know he made it possible for me to be at that precise moment and place, to walk up to a stranger and say " Can You Help Me" That moment when I met a friend who opened up my new world, was Richie. I slowly made many steps toward what today, is a life I truly can treasure, I am so lucky to be here writing this message, A message that will allow me the chance to say,you all deserve so much gratitude that we all met and you were all with me in all my successful journey then now and forever Love Bill |
Happy Birthday Bill !! and a quick recovery...

Thank you
To all my old and new friends
I really appreciate the nice words. Believe me they really have helped me in my adjustment to a very new life. I got so many happy memories of you who I have known and met face to face and to those who are friends made here on Pace and cap. Your friendship and desires to want to win just like I do using, that you use some or all parts of Howard Sartins methodology means so much to me. I had a great time at the Breeders Cup , Hopefully some pictures will make it onto pace and cap. I got to spend lots of quality time with Ted, He has always amazed me. His calm voice and how smart he talks and writes, After spending 5 day with Ted I see how deeply caring he is for others. I also met a new friend Dr, Bill Ziemba Dr.Z really made my whole Breeders Cup so memorable, and I truly thank him for believing in me. I am doing well, I guess my kidneys problems are being taken care of by dialysis, My next hurdle will be my bypass surgery which will be on Nov 27th I seem to be more alert. I am back to handicapping. I still am not as sharp as before but the auto features of RDSS have been working very well Thank you for your birthday wishes Good Skill to us all for many more years Bill |
Bill, your reporting on the changes in your life recently is both sobering AND inspiring! Amazing how simplified life becomes when there's no way left but forward ...
Sorry it took me a while, but here are many of the photos I took of our 2 days at Breeders' Cup 2017. Just a taste, but memorable: http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11361 Ted |
