missed by a neck cashing my biggest win mutual ever last night at hollywood.
they ran a late card and before retiring i had worked the 4th race and noticed i had a horse on top of both early and late exdc screens. told my better half this was a strong horse and placed 10 dollars to win on the number 4 and went to bed. |

Keep doing what ever it is that you are doing as to software information input since it provides you with nicely priced contenders. Best of luck, Robert |
thank you robert for the encouragement. i wish you the very best of weekends.
that longshot 4 also had a couple of angles working for him |

I ask you angle or not would you have wagered on that juicy priced # 4 anyway? When the maneuverings of the software program formulas bring such a bomb to the top is it not prudent to throw a couple of green backs on it no matter other handicapping considerations. To my way of thinking other factors (angles, form, etc.) come into play to separate closely matched well-valued contenders let us say from among the top 5 but at 43/1 why worry about the never ending variables. Continued good luck to you, Robert |
Forego EXDC
When you miss by a neck at 45-1 I consider that to be close enough to be a win. I know it doesn't pay that way, but when you are that close I think you deserve credit for a nice piece of handicapping. Those close finishes have a way of evening out and will come your way.
You made the correct call in the race. |

robert yes i most definitely wager regardless of angles or lack there of. i happened to notice a distance switch and knew the price on the 4 should be long. i do not bet angles but do notice a few simple ones when they appear |

Just the way you used the distance switch angle, a very well known and reliable trainer maneuver, shows that you are not only confident but having good success with your current Energy Program mode of play. It looks like from what you are saying that the trainer angle only meant the possibility for good odds, which bodes well for what you are doing. IMO to someone who just uses angles the 43/1 shot with just one or two other angles would have been considered a good play and similarly to someone who combines angles and numbers it would have made them warm and fuzzy about their selection. Again, IMO the angles are suppose to help you evaluate the horse’s current condition or the trainer’s intent for today’s race. If I would have been fortunate enough to land on that very juicy and seemingly well meant 43/1 contender you discovered any angles revealed, form or trainer intent, would have encouraged me to either bet more money or key it in some exotic bets. When I am not overly lazy and playing/betting from home I look over my collection of angles to assist in choosing a preferred contender. Continued good capping, Robert |
