I find it to be a double advantage using lines 1,3 see if you find that to be true

Tim Y 10-23-2008 02:01 PM

9 could get a piece of it too, but 4/1 is okay

Tim Y 10-23-2008 02:04 PM

3,6 in the opener at Woodbine

I 've been playing around with that best CPR rating that has been in the RDSS forum..

yesterday I had a place horse at 6.50 and a winner at 19.00

Tim Y 10-23-2008 02:23 PM

Abot 40% of all wagers go there

Tim Y 10-23-2008 03:30 PM

interesting 4th go to the true dirt horses 8,10 typo there although the 10 will have to come from far back

clore1030 10-23-2008 03:33 PM

Belmont 4th

I had the 8-9-10 horses close together in my rankings. At the last minute, going with the 8 and the 10.

I'm laying low today, waiting for the turf heats.

mikesal57 10-23-2008 03:34 PM

were all on the #10...w/p

Horses with this e/l structure just don't "get up" easily no matter the total energy balance in their favor.

mikesal57 10-23-2008 03:44 PM

thats true for this race..i think i saw him crawling home in last

mikesal57 10-23-2008 04:02 PM

Race 5

I dont care that he beat maidens by 8 & 1/2...its still maidens...taking a shot to win on the #1

clore1030 10-23-2008 04:05 PM

Anyone trying the 5th at Belmont?
I've got the chalk just slightly ahead of the 2 horse, just don't believe the 2 can carry his speed for 8F - to say he has a habit of backing up is an understatement.

clore1030 10-23-2008 04:30 PM

Belmont 6th

Think I'll stay out of this one. The 5 looks good until I examine his infrequent activity. The last may have taken everything out of him.

I don't like the price on the 4.

Horses don't know who they ran or are running against. Once you break free of the man made classifications, horses sort themselves out very well. THEY JUST RUN, they can't read the condition book

clore1030 10-23-2008 05:05 PM

Bel 7th

Did they just say that this is the last turf sprint of the meet?

Well, I'll try to go out with a winner in the # 11 horse. Don't like the price, but i do like its chances too much to pass it up.

Tim Y 10-23-2008 05:10 PM

10,11 with an honorable mention of the ONE

Tim Y 10-23-2008 05:40 PM

long one 4 with a short one 7

You talkin' the 8th at Belmont?
Then we both had the same pair and both just missed it.

What a finish!

I had it backed up so the pain of that loss was evened out by the $18.00 place mutuel.

Good for you, glad to hear that.
I practically had the money counted, even Durkin called Slambino as the winner. Usually he doesn't make that judgment when it's so close.

Oh well, as Scarlett O'Hara says "tomorrow is another day." I don't get upset over these things. If I were to let it get to me, I may as well grumble that the three that made up the triple were my top 3 choices.

It goes with the territory, but congrats again on your score.
