Does anyone out there see the board for the first at AQU?

The fave is 1/9 and everything else is 99/1!!!

Not that I'm playing it, but I've never seen this before. With 50 minutes to go, I expect this to change.

it changed ...a little...lol

This horse really lays over this field figure wise, but think i will have some fun with the double.

4-3/4-1-3

You realize what the show pools are going to look like if this one collapses in any manner? It does have a bad case of seconditis, so while it may have the figs, that's probably been the case before also.

However, this is one awful field and the horse has no excuses left if it loses this heat.

Tim Y 02-11-2009 01:16 PM

Important rider change on that favorite

TWO line better than this entire field.......If this one cannot win today it has the ingrained herd instincts of a follower

BUT a good one for the coattails idea in an exotic hooking it first second and third in case soemthing happens

Tim Y 02-11-2009 01:33 PM

FEW of today's riders make a big difference as compared to the Shoe Laffit or Bailey but Dominguez usually does

well I hope he is smart enough to keep up with the favorite in the second race ...so the Fit Faze can collar them..

5 to win

mike

clore1030 02-11-2009 01:52 PM

I like the 4 in the second race, but given its odds and being offered at a distress sale claiming price just weeks later, I have to pass on this one.

Tim Y 02-11-2009 01:54 PM

Indian war dance will suck up a lot of bucks here. OFF FORM but could hang around for a piece

:1: :3: look better but this one might get the front end by itself, BUT recent from says P.U.

even thought track profile says winners are no more than 2 lts behind at half its hard to pick a closer ...I'm looking for a speed horse that can handle fast fractions and stay around at the end

I went for the 2 also. I've got four of them so closely ranked that I may as well just go for the best price.

Too far back for me.
I like the 2, but the boys just called him as post time fave.

The 5 looks good off Med and Philly lines, but can he cut it here?

Probably will pass this one.

mikesal57 02-11-2009 02:53 PM

aqu 4..

the 5 never ran here...maybe he can stay off the lead

#5 to win...

Aqu 5th

With the 5 and the 1a guaranteeing a early pace(note the1a has to come on the far outside) i'm going with the #8..

any of you guys remember Oscar Barrera when he would claim a horse and bring him back in 3-5 days....and always won...the #8 is coming back in 5 days

#8 win

mike

look at this trainer..lol

That was a good one. I played it at the last minute, but just as an action bet as I don't care for Philly invaders as a rule.

So, the action bet got me back most of what I dropped in the second race, so I'm happy.

The fifth race bugs me - I like the 1A, but the 5 is whispering to me.

But the overwhelming voice tells me to stay out as I have the least success with these bottom-of-the-barrel types.

mikesal57 02-11-2009 03:16 PM

nice Charles on the 4th

His daddy used to frustrate me to no end. Would claim a horse for 10K that finished 15 lengths up the track and 4 days later the horse would win a NW1 race.

Oscar and Frank Martin were two whom I avoided as I could never tell when they were serious. Claim a horse from Frank, and he would wipe out your barn with Sig Sommer's money.

Thanks Mike, I was real hesitant on that, but it worked out well enough. But the fifth is one I won't change my mind about - I'm staying out, but good luck with the 8 horse.

Tim Y 02-11-2009 03:27 PM

thing about Philly lines: HOW FAST is too fast?

Tim Y 02-11-2009 03:29 PM

DQ coming up
