Remember, these are all before scratches done before the first race and my final analysis which is done after I know the scratches. But, you will have some idea as to what I am looking at.

Hit the 2nd but grass races are not my cup of tea.

Me either but I think it is because don't handicap enough of them to get a good feel for them. This is because I can't get started until about 8pm at night and it drives me nuts when they cancel the turf races due to weather.

R4 I am liking the 7-2 and 3. I think the 7 will pass the tiring 2 and 3.

I stopped doing NY racing because of all the grass and mdn races. Like you I hate it when you spend time capping and they come off the turf.

It brought up a Verizon search screen, but, I was able to find the address, click on it, and then scroll down to find what I needed. Thanks much :)

You can't do wrong when you quit ahead as a winner!!! Which means you will never play again! LOL

So much for the 7 horse. But, I did cash the 3 for place and show.

And now I am kicking myself for not tripling up on the show wager as you suggested. Arghhh...

Definitely have to find time in the near future to begin to better understand the vagaries of exotic wagering and see how to make it work for me.

r5 5-1-10-2

R5 I have the 10-5-1 and 6 as contenders, but, may pass the race.

I'm thinking the 10 and 6 as closers due to all of the early in the race, but, I am not sure how the 5 as an early presser will handle the earlys putting it possibly further back than where it should be and the 1 horse I am showing it 1st at the 2c as a presser but not being able to close.

All said and done, being blind and black boxing it, I should be favoring the 10 and 1, but, I am having too many questions and not clear in my visualizing the race.

I'm passing.

And that is an answer to my questions on the race. Instead of being an early presser behind the leaders - that's right - just jump right out there and take the early lead, burn yourself out and let the 1 press to the finish and the 10 horse pass everyone to finish second - and I don't have any money on the race. I will learn...I will learn....:)

R6 The 5 and 2...That's it. Possibly the .... no body else.

Feeling real weird about this race.

MNR on the slop at 113.5 and PlD on the poly at 113.8 and everyone else at 115 or slower?

Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda, bet the 2 horse to place and show.

Well, on to the next one.

R7 I am only really liking the 7 horse to close.

I would like the 8 but don't like the TT with another race where I have a bound of early horses fighting and possibly creating traffic problems as they slow down. I am not seeing what will happen with the earlys (my matchup skills are weak here) and feel that the 8 horse will slow down in the TT behind them and though it can close, will not be able to close fast enough.

Whereas, the 7 has a "clean" line as a sustained horse which show be able to run and pass if it doesn't have traffic problems.

Will probably pass. (Am I learning anything from the last race and the 2 horse and applying it to this race and the 8 horse? NO!!! As my wife says...Are you stupid?!!! LOL)

Well, I am happy I did not wager on that race. :) Now I can say "But, honey, am I stupid or really stupid?! LOL"

I only wagered on 1 out of the 6 races I handicapped on the card. This was the result as show from My AmWest account.
