Reminder re 2007 dates
 

Just a reminder to those of you who have not stumbled over this before: when you load 2007 race cards into Speculator (or Validator), don't forget to specify that the year is 2007, not 2006, otherwise your Past Performances will show negative DAYS since last raced.

If this happens to you and you read this post and then want to go back to choose year 2007 for a race card, you must first delete the 3 race files for the card you had the problem with, from your Speculator folder: for example for SA0101, delete SA0101R.DBF, SA0101H.DBF, SA0101P.DBF. Then try that card again, specifying the year 2007 this time.

(Of course, this applied to January 1, 2006, and will also apply to January 1, 2010, but hopefully by then only in software museums :~)
