Twinspires Experience
 

Hello All,

Just writing in to see if others have problems with Twinspires new browser based betting. They made this the only betting option since Dec. 12th, 2018, and so far I find it terrible. I only kept the Twinspires account because NHPLAY/AmWager can't bet Churchill and their other tracks.

I find their browser is slow, gets script errors (sometimes have to reload the page), the payout columns don't line up (causing some payouts to clip and not be shown, and if there's more than 10 betting entries the exacta will pays clip (missing some off the page). I told them about these things in a feedback, a couple weeks ago, but nothing changed.

Anyone else use Twinspires since the change, and what's your experience?

Also, are there other recommended betting places that people are happy with (which can bet Churchill and the other tracks they own)?

It wasn’t broke, yet TS tried to fix it. I was a Classic interface user since the BrisBet days, and am disappointed in the new layout. The old one was simple and easy to use. This new interface is just too busy.

TS should bring back the old layout for those that prefer that experience.

After logging in click on the little figure next to the balance box.
Scroll to preferences and set your interface.

What a pain the new platform is. I sent them a message that it stinks and they wrote back some nonsense then said I should take advantage of their special offer where you can get rewarded for using it. Thankfully they kept the classic format.

I ran into to that for the first time yesterday and it is terrible. I suppose some geek's idea to justify his job. Had to phone a friend to find out how to get back to classic.

Also had problems with my computer and downloading the PP.Now no problem,follow peter e advice above on how to get to classic and then everything is the same.

A bad UI - glad I don't have to use it often. Looks like it was designed for a smartphone or iPad/tablet. However, I have problems getting the Preferences section to change back to Classic. No such setting! Any advice?

I think it's possible I don't get additional Preferences (site display format) because I actually don't use it for betting, mostly tote watching :(.

I called twinspires and complained about the new format and was told how to get to the old Classic program.
The only problem is that the technician told me that it would only be available for the next couple of months and then it was going to be removed.
He was unable to give me a good reason for not keeping it along with the new program.

You don't get any preferences for appearance unless you are a VIP member.
I get 3 choices, and use the Classic - YouBet look. The other two are far too large to fit my screen.

I have no idea why I am a VIP, but seeing how the options are there, why not let EVERYONE use them?

FWIT, I also use Xpressbet and find it very good.
I will be making it my #1 ADW from now on. Pretty good interface and lots of extra stuff on the site (workouts videos, articles, blogs.....overall lots of supplemental information)

After clicking on that little man in the upper right corner I have that round white circle slid to the left so no blue is showing, then when I open and click on preferences there is a drop down box of 3 choices and I click on Classic and everything is the same as before any changes.

Perhaps that white button is an additional login to get the different screen such as classic.
