Race For Howard Sartin and Jim Bradshaw

I am looking into getting a race named for
Howard Sartin and Jim Bradshaw hopefully
We can have the race at Pace and Cap day

The cost is very high I know times are very bad for us
I will need help for the naming cost
As soon as I get all the details I will post them here
A group like ours should be able to raise the money we would need
If we can each make a small donation we could do it. I would need help

I would need to ask for help
I hope to get the chance to see many of you
at Saratoga I know its impossible to gather everyone.

But we as a group can do this together
We as a group can do it for these men who worked to make us winners

Bill,

That's a great idea. Do you know the cost? Let's see if we can get it done.

Bud:)

Announcing: "The Howard Sartin / Jim Bradshaw Memorial Race"

Saratoga Racetrack - Sunday August 23, 2009

We'll know precisely which race it is closer to the event (and asked for a higher class route race), but it will be announced in the day's track program and include a trophy presentation by Pace and Cap attendees in the winner's circle. So circle the date, come on down (or up) to Saratoga and join us in the celebrations!

I remember Doc (at least once) attended one such presentation and claimed the horse tried to bite him. We'll try for at least such decorum, with Doc and Jimmy perhaps looking on from a greater distance :)

This actually cost a little bit of money to arrange, and if anyone is interested in making a contribution of any amount, just email or PM me.

Thanks so much to Bill and his mom for all their legwork, and thanks also to Charlie Bedard and his wife for their generosity.

Ted
