r7: As 3-5-8, Bs 6-4, Cs 1, Xs 2: wide open, fast early pace may set for 8 to close, but has apprentice jockey who may not appreciate and get caught up in the hot pace, perhaps a race where Saez presses with the 6

r8: As 4-6-11, Bs 1-3, Cs 7-8-9, Xs 2: wide open, 4 needs the lead, 3 may show decent odds, 11 shows decent works after 197 day layoff

r9: As 8-9-12, Bs 2-3-11, Cs 5-7, Xs 1-4-6-10: chaos, a bunch of cripples, 8 shows decent jockey/trainer combo, 12 been working well after 203 day layoff and may show decent odds, 9 will close

Race 5 post-mortem: fatal mistake today on the winner (4): needed to use the Nov 23 race on turf that was 5 back to make the 4 a B and include him. Grrr... still, some prices in second half of the card so not a bad day at all. Key was identifying races 6,7,8 as wide open and race 9 as chaos to include B horses as well as A horses.
