Fractals
In the RDSS2.1 Glossary, it indicates that the user's choice of running styles for the contenders affects the resultant frl-e, frl-l, frl-n readouts - when it says,
"depending on which energy disbursement style the user judges the contenders to run as" Changing the running styles - even to their opposites (E to S, S to E - etc) for the top 3 or 4 contenders does not at all change the fractal readouts in my version of 2.1. Am I mis-interpreting the glossary explanation? Thanks - Gary |

Hi
You are correct. When you change the running styles the readouts on the PP's The program readouts do not change. The ability to change running styles is j a tool for those who use Jim Bradshaws 5 step procedure for the matchup. The visual running styles that the user can change are indicators of how the race should run, Early Neutral or Late. The fractal readout is a Sartin calculation which is from a long-ago Sartin program called fractals. What Mick's glossary is saying is, if you feel the race will run early neutral or late, then you would favor that fractal labeled E N L Good Skill |
Thanks Bill - appreciate your response. - Gary
