i saw this race as exactly the same as Bill V. Once the scratches came out, then the race changed slightly. My finalists are now 1,2,9, 10,11. I see the race as still running OTE. My choices are now 9. The 9 is an interesting horse. He seems to run his best races sitting 3rd or 4th. That is where he should be today and I look for him to run a big race at a decent price. The only knock I have against the 1 is that he may be too far back. I might use the 1 in exactas with the 9 as a saver bet. I dont think the scratch of the 5 affects the fulcrum as there are other horses which can run very similar fractions.

My main contenders are 1-Creative Art - line 1
2-Rippin Ride - line 2
9- Daftar - line 2
11-Political Science- line 2


Using Energy...and 1-auto adjust...I have 1 and 11.

With the #5 scratched, I think this race is going to run early. It is between the 2 and the 4. The 2 has gotten the lead at the break three times in a row at two different tracks. In his last race, he fought for 4 furlongs.

The 2 is my choice.

The 4 horse Chilango is very interesting.

In his last race he did something he has not done in some time. He was
1st at the break and fought for 2 calls. I do not believe this is a NTL type.
Oaklawn has been a pressers paradise. With that said I have no problem
rating this horse off 3 back. Anywhere near ML is great value.
