Key Horse Survey

I decided to do another 100 race survey on Richie Mathies' key horse angle. Richie defined a key horse as on that ranked 1-1,1-2 or 2-1 in either VDC &CSR or Profit Line & Bris PP. He gave more weight to the PL & BPP side Here are the results
Races Wins Places Shows Out
100 30 22 17 31
So added to the other 2 surveys here are the results of 300 races.
Races Wins Places Shows Outs
300 83 64 45 108
So the key horse completed the exacta 147 times [49%] & the tri [192 times[64%] Pretty darn good results for exotic players.

You are welcome Jeff but all I'm doing is passing on results of Richies' work. He was always willing to help anyone who asked him to help.

Great results,

If you have time; I would like you to show me how to manually retrieve the PL & BPP.

I will send you a Zoom invite.

Jon, and everyone - you can get ProfitLine and Prime Power from TwinSpires via the TwinSpires button on the RDSS Desktop which takes you to the TwinSpires info site.

Select the track you like, then the race you want. ProfitLine numbers are found on the 'Advanced' tab under the column heading 'PL', while Prime Power numbers are found on the 'Class' tab under the 'Prime Power' column header.

Also, for those who purchase Brisnet Past Performances, these figs are found on those reports.

I also highly recommend any tutorials by Tim (Lt1) :jump:. Beside the above info, you can learn a lot else from him!
