Here is the final at GP today. Post about 5:20 PM this afternoon Eastern

looks like the 5 and 7 definitely "go" early with possibilities of the 8 and 10 joining the fray.

Are there fast OTE types or does it look like the race might go early?

Here are the full pps with the middle tab set on tandem

Interesting race to take a crack at…

Here is what I see with the early and early/presser types:

#5 NTL coming off a wtw win. I go back to line 3 which was another wtw win vs 23.2 47.0 110.3
#7 NTL who is slower than #5
#8 An E/P who pressed and faded vs a slightly faster pace than #5 won against.
#10 Another E/P…This one fought and faded vs a slower pace.
#14 E/P…Fought and took the lead at the 2C vs a fast 22.3 46.3 before fading late.

#5 is the “best” pure early horse but I feel there are others to apply too much early pressure for early to win topday. I’ll look OTE vs a 23-and-change 47-and change pace, ideally sitting between 4th and 6th place early.

#1 Sustained. Line 3: 23.2 47.0 111.3 8-7-2-1
#2 Sustained. Won last race vs a slow pace…Don’t like the other lines…
#3 Presser. Line 3: 22.4 47.1 111.3 6-3-2-1
#4 Sustained Don’t care for this one.
#6 Presser Line 1: 23.1 47.4 111.2 3-3-1-1
#9 Sustained Line 2: 23.0 47.1 111.4 4-3-1-1

I’m down to the 3,6 and 9. #3 has won from 4th and 6th position. #6 has run well from as far back as 6th or 7th early. Those were fast paced races too, although on the dirt. #9 has the best move vs the fastest pace in line 10. That was a long time ago though and this horse hasn’t duplicated it since then.

At this stage of my game, I have to say I can’t separate these any further. Looking forward to other opinions on this race and watching how this one turns out.

Thanks Rich!

Okay, I'll weigh in here. Well maybe just give an opinion. I hate weigh ins!

The 5 cant run 24.7 and get his accustomed lead, so he has to run faster. 8 has pushed a 23.4 46.9 110.7 and then faded. 7 needs lead and can fight but only wins slower races.

With all the pressure my predicted pace is 47.2-111.0 and final at 136 and change.

Winner has to come from about 4th or 5th out.

The 1 and 2 on this pace will have to be deep closers and look to finish in the mid 136 range

The 3 raced from 3rd at 47.1-111.1 and did not lose much, if any ground. has run from 6th. major player here.

The 6 and 9 will either be a part of the early bunch and fade or will run mid pack (mostly the 9 as to last). 9 might be player.

10 has run well off 98 day layoff; is layed off 84 here. His race5 is todays pace or better and if the workouts are decent, might be a nice price.

3 horse primary and spread money on 10

good luck,

Do you care to go through how you came up with the 4. I am fairly new to the site and am trying to absorb as much as possible.
Thanks
Melvin
